World Excel champion offered £100k job
Rebecca Rickwood was offered a £100,000 job at Course Academy. Rebecca was the World Champion in Microsoft Excel 2007 at the Worldwide Competition in Microsoft Office. She was entered into the finals after getting 100% -- the top score in the UK -- in the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel certification exam. Nick Ferro, a director of the Bath-based training company Course Academy, said: "We have trainers who have been teaching Microsoft Excel since 1995 who would struggle to match her score, so naturally we feel Rebecca would be a great addition to our team."
Step 1 - Rebecca used Certiprep
Certiprep is a state-of-the-art assessment and test preparation tool. It uses performance-based technology similar to the certification exams and can provide feedback on each question providing step-by-step instructions. Once Rebecca had finished her learning, she was confident that she could pass the official Microsoft Office Specialist exam. She used her Certiprep again to take a practice test just to be sure. She then took the real exam and passed with flying colours and the rest is history as they say!
